The Poor Boys are a Vancouver Island based, Classic and Southern Rock band that features some of the island's finest musicians. Together they perform some of the most celebrated songs in Rock n Roll history - the music of John Fogerty and CCR, ZZ Top, The Allman Brothers, The Rolling Stones and more.

The Poor boys are led by legendary guitarist Don Peterson, who has been a force on the western Canadian music scene since the 1970s. Whether as a sideman in countless bands or fronting his own projects, Don always thrills an audience with his fiery playing and incredible guitar tone, often playing a vintage Gibson Les Paul or Fender Stratocaster from his fine collection.

Don is joined by Jay Stevens on bass guitar and vocals, Kelly Fawcett on guitar and vocals and Trevor Manuel on drums.
