Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Teighan Couch is a powerful, soulful voice with a knack for scat and a love for swing and bebop. Her music is deeply rooted in swing music and bebop traditions of jazz with inspirations from the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, The Oscar Peterson Trio, Ahmad Jamal, Dizzy Gillespie, and many more. She will be presenting a selection of eclectic jazz standards and her own original compositions. She will be joined by some of the finest musicians on Vancouver Island with Andrew Janusson on guitar, Drake Shoemaker on the upright bass and  Hans Verhoeven on drums. This swingin' quartet arrangement will not fail to get the audience grooving and bobbing their heads to their undeniable swing feel. Not only is Teighan a talented musician with a killer band, she is a joy to experience on stage.
